Hello Everyone—
I understand you all just wrapped up your meeting - I trust you’re as enthusiastic as I am with the good news. Previously I sent you all a message, I stated the following: “I believe in this team. You all are some of the most driven and talented designers we have had the opportunity to work with - and we’re excited for that relationship to endure.”
With your dedication and adaptability, particularly over the past twelve months, you repeatedly show that.
The gamer responses from last fall’s the game testing phase was enlightening. It validated the potential of a roguelike shooter but indicated we still had improvements to make. It revealed the necessity for a more distinct brand.
It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve advanced. You embraced the feedback to consideration and overhauled Project ETHOS with a renewed goal - one that’s ready to deliver on its potential to our players.
The belief in this project grows every day. To boost the remarkable development you’ve made, I am thrilled to introduce the new hire as the new Studio Head of the team. After some time of discussions, Ben starts with us on next week.
Ben’s management and experience in the PVP shooter field is vast, having spent the recent years developing and overseeing some of the most well-known series in the industry, for example Call of Duty: Black Ops, and more recently, Apex Legends.
Let’s together in greeting Ben next week. We are all looking forward to persist witnessing the evolution of the game in the months to follow.
David
